The BBC has announced that this year’s Doctor Who Christmas Special, Twice Upon A Time is to be broadcast on BBC One at 5.30pm.

Once again the show has secured a prime time family entertainment slot on the BBC’s Christmas Day schedule and has a 60 minute run time.

Not only are we saying goodbye to Twelfth Doctor Peter Capaldi, but we’ll be meeting the First Doctor again (played by David Bradley) and get our first real introduction to incoming Thirteenth Doctor Jodie Whittaker.

You can read more about the episode and what appears to be a new Doctor Who enemy here.

Twice Upon A Time makes it’s US premiere on BBC America on Christmas Day at (probably) 9pm and on ABC Australia on 26th December at (probably) 7.30pm.

Will you be watching Peter Capaldi’s regeneration finale? Then why not join our virtual Facebook Event. If you can’t watch Twice Upon A Time at 5:30pm Christmas Day in the UK, you can still join in spirit!
